Learning with the Fang

This week I have had the pleasure of seeing the first ‘Show and Tell’ presentation from a project team I have been working with.  My role is to ‘infect’ the team with some of the better ideas acquired in the years I ran similar projects while at Microsoft.  I am happy to report that this team of bright, enthusiastic people have really latched on to the key concepts and seem to be having fun playing with some really innovative ideas.

Take this little gem for instance - Taxonomy Directed Folksonomies - just one tiny part of the coolness that was demonstrated.  At today’s team meeting we decided to try and open up some dialogue with the world at large via blogs etc, probably in the ‘Show and Tell #3′ timeframe.

Sadly, my time with the team will have come to an end by then, but I am confident of great things from this tried and true process and great team.  Some days it is a real pleasure to get out of bed and go to work - today was one for me.
