Show and Tell makes me feel good

Last week I had the great pleasure of attending the second of three ‘Show and Tell’ events for a project I started with a client last year.  I was absolutely thrilled to see the genuine innovation and connection between business and technology.  Here are the hilights that I can remember:

  • The project team has been empowered to experiment, play and have fun during work hours (and continue to do so without my input)
  • This second event was better than our first and its ‘magic’ was well received by senior staff
  • The prototype functions developed over the Christmas break were nothing short of outstanding
  • Many of the features I nagged the team to build were not only implemented but improved upon – (during the event I was handed an ‘automatically generated’ business card, complete with short feed name for the RSS output of ‘my learning journey’).
  • A working version of an ‘RSS Stitcher’ (something that I used to call ‘RSS Munger’) – which was developed before any of us had discovered Yahoo Pipes!

Team – you have done me proud!!

RSS Munger didn’t pass the naming committee stage? :-)
