Wow – its rather chaotic being f2f at an UnConference.  (f2f newbie here).  Here are some of my initial reactions:

Bill Kerr’s talk on Knowledge

  • I finally met Bill Kerr – we have a mutual friend and often talk about each other but have never met.  While mentioning that I couldnt find listenable audio of his recent presentation he told me about this: from his wiki http://learningevolves.wikispaces.com/
  • It is remarkable how complex audio gets.  Speakers, microphones, feedback, too loud, too soft etc.
  • If we had a reliable low bit rate .mp3 stream from the event that would be a good baseline – fancy things we try could gracefully degrade to that stream (as per what the edtechtalk guys do).
  • The ‘twoness of two’ – hmmm.
  • Interesting youtube videos from leigh / graham
  • There is more than one way to skinner rat!
  • Language and its impact on us
  • Serial processors built on our parallel brains
  • Experiencing serious brain fade at 4.00pm
  • My body needs a break – back soon
