Learning with the Fang

While having a beer with fellow school dad ‘Eddie’ the conversation turned to school policy on Social Networking. After talking about all the recent kerfuffle with Carly Ryan MySpace et al, Eddie recounted some words that were screamed by an anxious mother as her kids ran toward the beach:

“You are not going anywhere near the water until you can swim”

Hmmm, there is something in that for all of us.
