A great week of podcasts last week with lots of overlapping stories, and where stories overlap, people connect. First up was my appearance on one of ThePodcastNetwork’s latest shows ‘Education Transformation’ hosted by Ben Wilkoff. Ben went to a lot of trouble to interview me and to edit our conversation into something that makes me sound quite lucid!
Second was a lovely, rambling conversation with Roy Blumenthal on The Extraordinary Everyday lives show - a really interesting dude from South Africa (who is the artist behind many tablet pc created sketches you will see round the web). All I knew about Roy before our chat was his flickr stream, I discovered and subscribed to his blog
while we were chatting. It didn’t take long to figure out that we had many overlapping stories!
My favourites were toward the end as we talked about creative commons licensing techniques and the notion of playing at work, using rapid prototyping to engender creativity. Well worth a listen if you care about any of that stuff.
p.s.
I notice that roy has blogged about our little chat and has uploaded his pro-forma license for artists who wish to be open and make money. Take a look - give Roy some feedback.
