Professor Tanya Monro and her team at the Adelaide Centre of Expertise in Photonics are pleased to announce the birth of one very special little Optical Fibre – with a very slender ‘half a micron’ (or 500 nanometres) core. This breakthrough will enable some very interesting experiments around leading edge theory from the Centre.

LISTEN to Professor Monro first hand.
