Yesterday was one of those days that gives a glimpse of how much fun learning can be. My task was to get some video footage from the Centre of Expertise in Photonics at the University of Adelaide.
Rob Morrison (longtime fans of the curiosity show know who I mean) was engaged to take some footage and I encouraged anyone with a camera to come in lunchtime and take some still shots that are beginning to appear HERE.
Sean, Kris, Erik, Stephen and the crew from the centre set up some nifty laser light sources, fluorescence examples and even a rig that can do laser graffiti!
We had an absolute blast, got some great footage (will share some as soon as I can) and thanks to the patience and generosity of Rob, learned a ton about shooting freaky stuff and editing stories.
