- “A series of tubes” podcast in which Richard Chirgwin interviews Prof Tanya Monro shortly after being awarded physical scientist of the year. Great interview that moves on to cover some of the basic science underpinning the work going on at the Centre of Expertise in Photonics (CoEP) at the University of Adelaide. (Do yourself a favour – download and listen to the whole thing).
- Adelaide’s next Thinker in Residence, Dr Genevieve Bell talking about free public at a keynote presentation to Australasian Computer Science Week, where she discussed the past and the future of wireless technology trends around the world and across generations.
Roughly ten minutes of snippets from podcasts I have heard recently that might be relevant to Higher Education. My aim is to stimulate discussion around the impact of the read/write web on research and teaching & learning.
