When not siting in front of a computer being a social media geek for hire, I enjoy playing music with friends and good food / wine. Last weekend I had the rather gratifying pleasure of being able play guitar with the ‘geezers‘ (possibly Adelaide’s 5th best party band) at the Clare gourmet festival, courtesy of Kirrihill wines – all thanks to social media connections. The story is long and convoluted, but at the end of the day a hearty thanks to the good folk from Kirrihill for having foresight and courage to connect with a city based party band via twitter - may your brand and google juice prosper!
p.s. Special hat tip to frustrated drummer Matt (formerly of kirrihill, now with chateau tanunda) who I suspect was a key influence in all this.
